Mobile App
Thanks to everyone who has helped me test the iOS app so far. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. I’m looking forward to posting feature updates there soon. In the meantime, I have added a ‘News’ section to the main screen of the app, so keep an eye on that.
For Android users, you will get the exact same app very soon. I have submitted the app to Google Play, so you’ll be able to start testing that real soon.
Web App
With a view of simplifying the creation and concept of a songcard, and keeping a consistent offering between the web app and the upcoming mobile apps, songcards now simply include streaming and downloading of the MP3 and WAV of the featured song.
Unlocking of extra content will come back in a different fashion in the near future. I also believe that the music should be enough. And getting artists to come up with ideas for extra content as well as information about the songcard is understandably unnecessary cognitive load. Music is enough.
You’ll also notice a much more simplified experience of the Songcards Web Platform, so any feedback on that would be greatly appreciated.
Launch
Once I am satisfied that the iOS and Android apps have been thoroughly tested enough, I will start planning the launch of Songcards, finally coming out of beta!
As always, any questions, suggestion, or feedback are greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Chris
