This is just a quick update about what’s going on at Songcards.

I’ve been deep in development working on some aspects that many of you provided very constructive feedback about.

One of those things, which is a huge one, is the mobile app.

I’ve been prototyping a few different approaches to this and have settled on one.

Previously the idea was to put out a mobile player app just for listening to one’s collection, but I wasn’t satisfied that it was compelling enough.

So I have decided to go all in on a brand new mobile experience and make something that isn’t just a player, but it’s the collector’s musical passport.

The Songcards mobile app will be the go to place to listen, discover, and collect songcards. It’s where the collector will construct their identity via their collection and show off to their friends.

I’m about 70% of the way to releasing a beta version of the app, so if you’re interested in being of the first, just let me know here or hold tight for further updates.
